So this is kind of like the "a tree falls in a forest, but nobody was there to see it, did it make a sound?" question...
P1. I am my father's daughter.

I am the granddaughter of my father's father.
Right? But my father's father died when my father was in his teens. I'm named after him in fact! But because I never met him, what do I call him? Logically and biologically, he IS my grandpa, but since I never met him, I sometimes call him "your dad", "dad's dad" or "Sam". But is that right? Should I call him "grandpa"? What's your opinion?
Deductive and valid (argument from definition). He was certainly your grandfather, but as for how to refer to him, family customs differ. Logic can't settle everything!
